What is a wasted life?

You’re told, growing up “make something of yourself” or “life is what you make of it”, I even got this , ” you’ll  never amount to anything if you don’t …do this or that, this way or that way. The common thread in any of these remarks, they are all puzzling to a young person whose hands are full trying to fathom countless other conundrums that can distract a young person.
You get a job , and the first thing someone  assigned to teach you ” the ropes ” a nautical throw back I assume , or ” you’d better listen up ,I’ll only tell you this once and there’s a lot to learn.” It’s all too common and ultimately KISS is the real success story here.{ Keep It Simple Stupid }

Small minds , give themselves a lift by overly complicating what they tell you , and if you ask too many questions , one or two things will happen. You are  told to write  questions and just listen for now or this will go a lot better if you realize a lot of people have wanted this position and no one was hired from within the company,  who deserved a chance but you were given the job, so you have a lot to prove to everyone , I hope you won’t disappoint us all .

The good news is there is nothing new here and if you love what you are heading for in the near future then ” keep your eyes on the prize”  also , ambiguity forces you to knoodle it through and that too is a treasure you can endlessly redeem .
